As a child I was fascinated by dolphins and whales. I obsessively drew them in my school books and in art classes. Fast-forward to the 90s, and whilst living in the UK, my debut middle-grade novel titled Dolphin Boy Blue was published. It was during this time I had the honour of being an ambassador for the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society. I spent time on the Moray Firth in Scotland as the society's guest. My respect for dolphins and whales deepened, and my love for these beautiful creatures of the sea has never waned. 

On a recent trip to the Pacific NorthWest USA, I've been inspired to create a series that celebrates the great orca.

Using mixed media my intention is to create pieces that not only embodies a profound connection to the sea, but also elevates interior spaces.
